Sunday 9 August sees the return of one of the summer’s most enchanting events: live music, nature and breakfast at altitude at the first light of day

Valdidentro, 16 June 2026 – Valdidentro is gearing up for one of the most exciting moments of its summer. Following the extraordinary success of the 2025 edition, featuring the energetic all-female performance by the Italian Women Tribute, the Concerto all’Alba returns on Sunday 9 August 2026 – an experience that combines music, nature, atmosphere and fine dining in a unique setting: the Sasso Prada area, at an altitude of 1,600 metres.
The seventh edition of the event will feature a special guest: Timothy Cavicchini, a powerful vocalist and a favourite with the public, who will bring his energy to the stage alongside the band CantaItalia, with a rousing tribute to the greatest hits of Italian rock.
A name that instantly builds anticipation for an event which, year after year, proves to be one of the most distinctive and evocative on Valdidentro’s summer calendar. Not just a concert, but an experience to be savoured with all the senses: the walk in the dark before dawn, the fresh mountain air, the silence that precedes the music, the sun rising behind the peaks, the shared breakfast and the energy of a live performance capable of transforming the early hours of the day into an unforgettable memory.
At the foot of the Fraele Towers, Timothy Cavicchini and CantaItalia will accompany the sunrise with an intense, moving and captivating performance. The repertoire will pay tribute to the great songs of Italian rock – the ones everyone knows, sings and holds dear: a musical journey designed to engage the audience and enhance the magic of a natural setting that is already extraordinary in its own right.
The Dawn Concert has now become much more than just an event: it is a collective ritual of the Valtellina summer, an opportunity to pause, breathe, listen and share the beauty of a rare moment at an unusual time of day. It is an event that attracts around a thousand participants every year, bringing together residents, visitors and enthusiasts in an authentic experience, suspended between emotion, landscape and live music.
The programme includes groups setting off on foot from Rasin or Premadio at 05:00, whilst the shuttle service from Rasin will run from 05:15. The concert will begin at 06:15 and will be accompanied by breakfast at altitude. The event is scheduled to finish at around 08:30, with the return journey on foot or by shuttle.
The admission fee for the concert and breakfast is 20 euros. For those wishing to use the shuttle service, there is an additional charge of 10 euros.
With the 2026 Dawn Concert, Valdidentro reaffirms its commitment to organising events that showcase the local area through original, exciting experiences deeply rooted in the mountains. A special dawn to enjoy together, illuminated not only by the sun, but also by music, passion and the beauty of being together.
