The fishing season continues at Lake Foscagno: under the regulations issued by Unione Pesca Sondrio, fishing in the Trophy Zone is extended from 5 October to 8 December 2026.
Anglers can continue fishing beyond the regular season’s closing date, subject to the rules established for the extension period.
Fishing is permitted on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Fishing is not permitted on Thursdays.
All fishing methods are allowed at Lake Foscagno except “camolera”, provided they comply with regional legislation and provincial fishing regulations.
A specific Trophy Zone permit is required. Only rainbow trout may be kept, up to the catch allowance included in the Trophy Zone subscription. Once this allowance has been used, another subscription may be purchased.
At the end of each fishing session, and in any case before leaving the area, anglers must deposit the catch coupons from their seasonal Trophy Zone subscription in the designated collection boxes near the lake.
All other provisions of the regional regulations and the general fishing regulations for the Province of Sondrio for the 2026 season remain in force.
