Between September and October 2026, the Bormio Alpine Guides offer a series of excursions to discover Valdidentro, with routes through Cancano, Val Alpisella and Val Viola.
The highlights of early autumn are the excursions dedicated to the deer rut at the Cancano Lakes: a special opportunity to experience the mountains during one of the most fascinating moments of the year, listening to the calls of the deer in the heart of the Alpine landscape.
As the season progresses, the focus shifts to the colours of autumn foliage, with two excursions in Val Alpisella and Val Viola, when larch trees, forests and mountain slopes are painted in warm autumn shades.
