Among the most eagerly awaited events of the summer, the Rasin Multipurpose Hall welcomes Claudio Lauretta with his show “Imitamorfosi”, a spellbinding performance that combines impersonation, comedy, quick-change acts and great stage presence.
Also known as Mister Voice, Claudio Lauretta is one of the most acclaimed impressionists on the Italian scene. Thanks to his extraordinary ability to modulate and transform his voice, he brings a multitude of characters to life, replicating not only their tone of voice but also their way of thinking, speaking and moving.
The title of the show says it all: “Imitamorfosi” stems from the convergence of imitation and metamorphosis.
On stage, Claudio Lauretta does more than just ‘do impressions’; he transforms himself. Actors, singers, politicians and figures from the world of entertainment are portrayed in an imaginative, ironic and surprising way, highlighting their quirks, obsessions, attitudes and mannerisms.
The result is a dynamic, brilliant and ever-changing show that takes the audience on a thrilling journey featuring famous characters, shifts in tempo and lightning-fast transformations.
“Imitamorfosi” is a show full of rhythm, energy and intelligence.
Through a mix of old and new impersonations, Lauretta explores changing fashions, the shift in audiences from television to social media, contemporary trends, and the politics of yesterday and today, weaving together comedy, songs and chameleon-like transformations. All it takes is a few props — glasses, hats, wigs, and fake beards — to turn him into a modern-day Fregoli, capable of changing his face, voice and tone in the blink of an eye.
Claudio Lauretta is a face and a voice much loved by the general public.
He has been part of the “Ciao Belli” programme on Radio Deejay for over ten years, and in 2022 he joined the cast of “Tale e Quale Show”, where he has appeared both as a contestant and as a judge.
His experience in radio, television and theatre ensures that every performance is a blend of professionalism, humour and stage presence.
