Second appointment with 'Magical Notes in Valdidentro'. A show for voice and piano about Dante Alighieri's female characters.
Alessia Compagnoni
Second unmissable appointment with ‘Magical Notes in Valdidentro’: on the programme ‘Tre Donne alle prese con l'Alighieri’ (Three Women grappling with Alighieri), a journey between music and words.
Two musicians in a classical concert and a young actress in a contemporary pièce narrate Dante and the Divine Comedy.
‘The Divine Comedy: dramatic-musical illustrations for piano four hands’ is a refined, vigorous and romantic composition by Cesare San Fiorenzo. The texts from ‘Le donne di Dante’ by the brilliant pen of Daria Pratesi (1958), theatre writer and film scriptwriter, narrate the supreme poet Dante Alighieri through the voices of Beatrice, Francesca da Rimini, Piccarda Donati, Pia de' Tolomei and Gemma Donati.
Sparkling and ironic texts tell of an everyday Dante who, before being “supreme”, is a man. A narration that will make us laugh and think.
