Valdidentro Mountain Feast: 'Al dì de la Bronza'

To mark the end of the summer season, the Valdidentro Mountain Feast takes place – a two-day festival celebrating the mountains, their traditions and the identity of the local area.

An event that brings together locals and visitors to experience the Alpine world at first hand, with opportunities for socialising, culture and fun for all ages.

The weekend kicks off with one of the most cherished and authentic events in the local tradition: “Al dì de la Bronza”.

A day celebrating the world of mountain pastures and the return of the animals to the valley after spending the summer at high altitude – a symbolic moment deeply rooted in Alpine culture. The village streets come alive with a picturesque procession of cows, goats and herders, accompanied by the sound of cowbells and the colours of tradition.

It is a special opportunity to rediscover the traditions, rhythms, and atmosphere of days gone by, while experiencing firsthand the bond between people, nature, and the local area. Throughout the day, there will be plenty of entertainment, culinary delights featuring local specialities, and activities designed to engage both adults and children, in collaboration with the association Gruppi Pedenosso 2000.

“Al dì de la Bronza” is much more than a festival: it is a collective narrative renewed every year, bringing the community together and passing on the value of its roots to younger generations.
